Ventilator Rugby Headgear
Designed for players who prioritise breathability and protection, the Ventilator Headgear features large ventilation holes for maximum airflow, keeping you cool during intense gameplay. A cavity above the head allows heat to escape, preventing overheating. The closer fit over the eyes enhances protection, while the longer cheek length provides as much coverage to the upper jaw and cheekbones as regulations allow. This design makes the Ventilator an ideal choice for adult players seeking a secure, comfortable fit.
For added safety, the quick-release chinstrap features a shorter hook Velcro section, allowing for a faster, safer release if pulled. Note that this can mean that the chinstraps wont tighten enough for smaller heads, so we do mainly recommend this unit for adults. This helps reduce player injury, as the chinstrap is designed to break before it can tighten dangerously around the neck.
